Walk 1916: Women of the Rising is an augmented reality walking tour that allows you to create your own tour path of 10 Easter Rising sites in Dublin City Centre. At each site you will see a historical image from a local Dublin library, archive and/or museum, along with text and audio narrative about the significance of the site and the important contributions women made to the Easter Rising. This app gives you the best of both worlds: access to historical artefacts with simultaneously accessing historical sites, in whatever order you choose, providing an exciting way to experiencing Irish history.
